07 May 2008: Father Capadonno has had a lasting impact on my life. Because of him, I am a better Catholic and a better person. I was with Mike company and was with the Father 2 hrs before he was martyred. His death was devastating to Mike Co. and to me. I pray to him weekly to intercede with our Lord, Jesus Christ, for the salvation of my soul.
In 1992, as an FBI Agent, I dedicated all of the Native American work I was involved in to his rememberance. I was successful in most of my work. My personal interaction with the Father was brief but profound. I cannot attribute any miracles in my life to Father Cap but I will testify that his sacrifice has changed me forever. I only wihed then and wish now that I could have taken his place on the battlefield and died in his place as he had so much to offer to all of mankind. He died for the love of Christ, his marines and corpsmen. He was indeed martyred for his beliefs an deserves to be elevated to sainthood.
