Quote of the Day

I am not Catholic, nor very religious. Yet, the book Grunt Padre has moved me deeply. I served in Vietnam, as a Marine, with 5th Com Bn, 3rd MAF, Da Nang, and have the highest regard for the Mud Marines, we affectionately call Grunts. The luckiest Grunts in Nam were those who had the Padre Capodanno watching out for their souls.

Welcome

Welcome    "After having consulted with the Holy See, my brother bishops and the faithful, I have verified the widespead reputation of sanctity enjoyed by the late Reverend Vincent Robert Capodanno, of the Society of the Foreign Missions, and Chaplain, United States Navy."
